“As we planned the startup of our new cleaning business we searched for software that would help our company hit the ground running. As we anticipated handling hundreds of accounts we wanted
software that helped not only with scheduling, order entry, accounting, etc. but that also would help organize the business and manage our marketing efforts. We especially were on the lookout for
software that would help us manage our advertising campaign and response and track our customer demographics.
Before trying Camelot we tried about 5 other software programs including ProClean, ServiceWorks, and ProfitMaster. None of these programs had the ability to perform all the tasks we desired and none
had the ability to be customized to the degree that we desired.
We then tried Camelot software and here is what we found:
- Extensive customization possibilities. The ability to manage our advert6ising campaign and track key customer demographic information was beyond our strict
requirements.
- Easy, logical program layout and setup. We had Camelot up and running quickly due to the streamlined layout.
- Easy “startup”. As we were a new company we did not have an extensive database in a competing program. We did have an extensive list of potential
clients in Excel and other programs. Getting this information into Camelot to begin our advertising program was easy.
- Great documentation and help system. The materials provided with the program made learning the program easy.
- Ability to handle all facets of our business from giving estimates, invoices, order entry and completion, accounting, scheduling, route planning, etc.
The few times we called on customer service with the email option we received a response within the 24 business hours and the responses were effective in answering the
questions we had.
Given the scope and breadth of the Camelot program and the ease of use we know we made the right choice. I would urge anyone considering this type of service business
to evaluate Camelot software. I would also urge those in the startup phase of a new business to consider allocating funds for this software at the start of operations to avoid having to convert
from another system later on.
