Camelot is definitely one of the best purchases we have ever made for our business. We have been in business for a little over 3 ½ years and have been using Camelot for about one year. Before
buying this program, we wrote out everything by hand and had to keep track of all information on paper. (We did have a friend who does computer programming working on a program for us, but it was
very slow going.) Customers’ names, addresses, phone numbers, etc., all had to be looked up manually anytime this information was needed. And, of course, this information is needed on a
daily basis. What a pain in the neck!
Now, with Camelot, it only takes a few strokes on the keyboard to find customer information. It wasn’t hard inputting all of that information, either. Sure, it was time-consuming to
initially type in every thing, but it was very easy to figure out how to do it., and by now we have saved much more time than it took us to get the information entered. Maintenance of customers’
records is a cinch, too. If a phone number or anything else has to e changed, added, or deleted, no complicated process is required. A change can be made in a matter of seconds.
The screens are easy to read, making much of the program self-explanatory. When we do need to consult the manual, it too is easy to read and understand. There have been a few times when we have
had additional questions that required a call to the support staff, and they have been knowledgeable and helpful.
Our customers really appreciate not having to rattle off their telephone numbers and addresses every time they call. And we love being able to look up such information so quickly that we don’t
have to ask customers to wait while we get to their records. We don’t even use this program as much as we could yet, but it already has benefited us greatly. When we start utilizing more of
the potential that this program offers, booking jobs, keeping track of accounts receivable, and many other tasks will probably seem like child’s play!”
