"I can not begin to tell you how easy yet encompassing the Camelot computer program is, even for a self-taught novice computer user like me! This program is a very welcome change from the
numerous other programs I have tried in the past.
We started using computers in our business with the first version of ACT about 8 years ago, but this was just painfully deficient in so many areas and also was too difficult to use. In short, I
hated it! We then switched to a program called Organize Your Way. This was easier in a few ways but did not cover many basic, vital areas that a cleaning business needs at all.
About a year ago I ordered all the sample programs I could find out about and found every single one of them seriously lacking in some respect. After these
disappointments, I decided to give ACT! another try with their newest version basically out of growing desparation to find something remotely close to what we needed from software. Alas, I still
hate it! (Do you know anyone who wants ACT! cheap?)
Then I became aware of Camelot, and upon reviewing the information about it, I saw that it claimed to do everything we were looking for. I thought to myself that these were probably just hollow
promises. Plus the investment we needed for Camelot was more than we have ever paid for software. But since it came with a 30-day totally risk-free trial, I decided to go for it.
Boy was I thrilled that I decided to give Camelot a try! I it easily lived up to all its promises, and then some! Aside from the startling quality and scope of this program, I was
thrilled to get not only good, but exceptional help from the tech support people. I was very pleasantly surprised to discover how friendly and patient they are. I felt at home talking with
them right away. Service like this is so rare these days, and certainly is in stark contrast to the non-support I've suffered through with other programs and computer hardware. This includes
all technology companies, large and small.
Since we've begun using Camelot I've noticed a sharp improvement in our general productivity. One key area that Camelot has quickly and substantially improved are our daily order taking which is now
much faster and smoother. Math errors have been eliminated since Camelot automatically calculates all aspects of our quotes for us. Also, with the abilities in scheduling and job time
predicting. we are able to route jobs much better for less down time, while also offering more accurate arrival times to our customers, which I think gives us a competitive advantage over our
competition.
Also our marketing has risen to a whole new level, from simple personalized postcard reminders to full-blown sales efforts using demographic information, Camelot has made these things as easy as one or
two button pushes! Our monthly invoicing couldn't be easier, either. We just push two buttons and all our due invoices are accurately printed, ready to be stuck into envelopes, easy!
Labor and time are two of the biggest expenses for a business, and Camelot slashes the amount of precious labor needed to do many of our common tasks. Now I see that the investment we made in
Camelot was essentially free, as it continues to easily more than pay for itself each day in gained productivity and reduced mistakes, as well as give us unique money-making abilities that are only
possible using great software. It's almost like I traded a 20-dollar bill for ongoing access to the US Mint, a trade anyone would be crazy not to make!
Other than the automatic Upsell scripts, I would say one of my favorite features is the Key Note. Every time I enter any part of a caller's information that is already in Camelot, that person's Key
Note pops up, alerting me to a vital fact about them. This will certainly keep those few "customers" who are really cheats from taking advantage of us again! What a great feeling that
is!
Clearly, Camelot is not an optional luxury. It's as important a tool to our franchise as the equipment we clean with, the phones we use, or the vans we drive, if not more so!
Camelot has also given me something money can't directly buy… more time to enjoy my family and lifestyle that I've worked so hard for. I'm so, so glad I said 'YES!' to Camelot!! THANK YOU!
