Customizing your Schedule Printout (Route Sheets)

To customize the look of the Route Sheet report:
1. From the main menu Navigator screen, click the Reports button
2. Double-click on the Employee Performance category folder.
3. Click on the Schedule report so it is highlighted and click the Copy button at the bottom
4. Type in a new name for the report, like “MySchedule” and hit [Enter] on your keyboard.
5. Now click the Layout/Design button at the bottom of the Reports screen to go into the report designer.

EXAMPLE 1: Let's make each different crew's schedule not start a new page, but instead all flow together. To do this, after following steps 1-5 above, follow these steps:
6. Go to the Report pull-down menu at the top of the ReportBuilder screen, and choose Groups
7. Under On Group Change, uncheck the Start New Page box.
8. Then to save your changes, click OK and close the ReportBuilder with the X in the upper left and say that you do want to save changes.

Now to make this new schedule route sheet report be the one that prints out from your Schedule screen, open the Schedule screen and from the Scheduling pull-down menu choose Options. On the View tab of the options screen, you will see a drop-down box labeled Default Route Sheet Report, where you will now choose “MySchedule” instead of Schedule.

EXAMPLE 2: Let's say you wanted to show the Site Subdivision or Complex field on the route sheet and it isn't there now.  Again, follow steps 1-5 above, then when in the ReportBuilder screen, continue with these steps:
6. Click the DBText control button at the top (it will be the one with an A on it and a small box behind the A).
7. Click in the Detail section of the report page where you want the Site Subdivision field to show. A new box will now show there and it will be selected and it will probably say something like DBText11.
8. At the top of the screen, there is an empty drop-down box to the right of the drop-down box that has UserReportData in it.  From that empty drop-down box, choose Site Subdiv/Complex.
9. You may want to also resize the box you have added to the Detail section of the report by clicking and dragging its edges.
10. Once you have it like you want, click the X in the upper left and say that you do want to save your changes.
