Turning off User Account Control

In Windows Vista:

1. From the windows Start menu, choose Control Panel.

2. On the left at the top, switch to Classic View

3. Find and double-click on 'User Accounts' in the list there on the right.

4. Select the 'Turn User Account Control on or off' option near the bottom, and click Continue if asked.

5. Uncheck the only checkbox there labeled 'Use User Account Control...', click OK, and restart your computer as prompted.

IMPORTANT: On some versions of Vista, it is necessary when running Camelot to always "Run as administrator".  This is done by instead of just double-clicking on the Camelot icon to run the software, you instead right-click on the icon and choose "Run as Administrator".

In Windows 7:

1. From the windows Start menu, choose Control Panel, then System and Security, then Action Center.

2. Click on the Change User Account Control Settings link

3. Slide the slider bar on the left to "Never Notify", and click OK, and restart the computer
