On the schedule screen, you always have the option of viewing the job hints within all the boxes at once, or only seeing the job hint when you move the mouse over the job. 

This option is accessible by right-clicking on the schedule and choosing "Show Hints in Box".  If you currently do not see all the hints at once, but want to, then just open the schedule, right-click anywhere on it, and choose "Show Hints in Box".
