Each report is based on a report Dataset that is pre-built within the program.
There are 2 main datasets that most reports you may want to create are based on: the Order List and the Contact List.
The Order List report dataset contains a record for each order in the database (the same list that shows when you click Quotes/Orders from the main menu).
The Contact List dataset contains a record for each client/contact in the database (the same list that shows when you click Clients/Contacts from the main menu).
You can see a list of the possible fields for either of those datasets when you click the New Report button at the bottom of the Reports screen, and on the first screen, step 3, you choose the dataset, so you can select the Order List dataset or the Contact List dataset, and click Next, and then on the next screen you'll see a list of all the possible fields available to view in that dataset.
