Error opening query for the chosen report

You would most likely get this error because you have invalid criteria entered for a report.  Please refer to the topics about the Criteria screen for help on setting up criteria.

If you are getting this error when attempting to print or preview your route sheets, it is again for this same reason.  Remember that the Schedule Route Sheet printout is a report as well.  You can usually solve the error by going to the Reports screen, then double-click on the Employee Performance category, then right-click on the Schedule report and choose Reset criteria for the chosen report

After doing this, you also need to be sure the report is sorting properly.  The Schedule report in particular needs to be sorted by Vehicle and Sched Start Date, so again go to the criteria screen for the schedule report, click the Sorting tab at the top, and find the Vehicle field listed on the left and double-click on it to move it to the list on the right, and then the Sched Start Date field listed on the left and double-click on it as well, and then click OK on the criteria screen to save those changes.

Another possible reason for getting this error would be if you have recently added a custom field and the name you entered for the field is not a valid custom field name.  Refer to the topics about Custom Fields for more information on that.

You can also reload the reports that came with the software following the steps below:

1. Open Camelot.

2. From the Tools pull-down menu, choose Upgrade From > Load Custom Update.

3. In the Database box at the top, click the file folder button, choose C: drive in the Look In box, double-click on Program Files, double-click on Camelot, and double-click on the "CEUpdate.mdb" file you should see listed there.

4. Now back on the Import screen, in the Database box, if it happens to have quotation marks around the file path there, then remove those.

5. Click the Import button, and answer NO if it asks if you want to re-import everything

As mentioned, this will reload the reports that came with the software.  If you are having this problem on a report that you copied and customized, then you may need to delete that report and recreate it.
