If you happen to find that you have the same client record entered twice, then you can merge the two records without losing any history from either by simply right-clicking on the row that you want to merge with another client and choosing Set Contact To Be Merged.
Then find the contact record you want to keep and merge the other one's history into, and right-click on their row and choose the Merge Into This Contact option.
You will then be asked to confirm what you are doing, and when you choose OK, the duplicate client will be removed and all of the underlying information moved to the other client.
