Report Error: "=" expected on line ...
There are some reports that have a place to show your company information (name, address, company logo graphic, etc) at the top. The program resets this information on those reports when you make any changes to it on the Company Setup screen.
There is a known issue that if you have an apostrophe in any of those company information fields there on the General tab of the Company Setup screen, it will cause these reports that are set to use that information to not work properly.
So instead of an apostrophe, use the accent mark (´), which as you can see looks the same as the apostrophe, and can be typed in by holding [Alt] on your keyboard and typing 0180 on the num keypad at the right of your keyboard ([Alt]+0180).
This should solve this error in most situations.
If you do not have an apostrophe in any of your company information fields, then follow the steps below to reload the reports that came with the software, and that should enable to use any of those reports again:
1. Open Camelot.
2. From the Tools pull-down menu, choose Upgrade From > Load Custom Update.
3. In the Database box at the top, click the file folder button, choose C: drive in the Look In box, double-click on Program Files, double-click on Camelot, and double-click on the "CEUpdate.mdb" file you should see listed there.
4. Now back on the Import screen, in the Database box, if it happens to have quotation marks around the file path there, then remove those.
5. Click the Import button, and answer NO if it asks if you want to re-import everything
As mentioned, this will reload the reports that came with the software. If you are having this problem on a report that you copied and customized, then you will need to delete that report and recreate it.
